Ramrod Key is more of a residential key, with less commercial activity which will no doubt suit many of you. There a re a couple of restaurants, bars, two dive shops and a lot of tranquility Little Torch Key is nestled in between Ramrod Key and Big Pine Island and again is essentially a residential key. Offering basic supplies, a full marina and a restaurant Little Torch Key is far enough away from the lively atmosphere of Key West but not too far to stop you enjoying a night out. Summerland Key is located just 24 miles from Key West and is very popular with boaters as it boasts wide flow through canals and 4ft drafts. Summerland Key also has its own private airstrip which allows owners of the grand beachfront estates to easily commute back to the mainland. Cudjoe Key is a little closer to Key West and offers a wide selection of residential homes with most of them lying on the Atlantic side. Some homes are built on ground level but you will still find some lovely stilt homes with your name on them. Sugarloaf Key boasts remnants of its historic past and is a very pretty key with a pleasant mix of residential, commercial and tourist based properties.
